Homemade Collards

Ingredients
- 1 very large bunch of fresh collard greens
- 1 small smoked hamhock
- 1 small onion - diced
- 1/2 cup diced bacon
- 1 Box chicken broth
- Salt - teaspoon
- Pepper - 1\2 teaspoon
- 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
- 1\4 cup cider vinegar
- 1 cup water
Directions
Remove stems from greens
Chop into bite size pieces
In large pot place onion and bacon and brown.
Add in all other ingredients
Pour in chicken Stock and enough water to just cover
Simmer on low heat for 3-4 hours
Remove hamhock and cut meat into tiny pieces and return to pot.
Stir until late all meat is combined
Salt and Pepper to taste.
