Fruitcake Cookies
Ingredients
- Chop: 1/2 lb. (1 carton) candied cherries
- 3 boxes dates
- 1/2 lb. (1 carton) candied pineapple
- 4 cups pecans
- Sift Together: 2-1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Cream: 2 sticks margarine until fluffy
- Add: 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs, well beaten
Directions
Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350° until light brown for chewy cookies or darker for crisp cookies.
