Fried Banana Peppers
- One per pepper.

Ingredients
- 1 jar hot banana peppers
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 1-1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup cracker meal
- 1 egg
- 1/2 can beer
Directions
Split peppers and seed.
Bowl #1: milk, beaten egg, and beer
Bowl #2: 1 cup flour
Bowl #3: 1/2 cup cracker meal and remaining 1/2 cup flour
Dip peppers into milk mixture and bread with contents of bowl #2. Set aside 10 minutes. Re-dip peppers into milk mixture and dip in bowl #3. Allow to sit 10 more minutes. Drop in deep fat (360–365°). Fry until golden brown. Drain and serve.
PREPARATION TIME: Approximately 30 minutes.
