Country Cornbread

Ingredients
- 2 cups self-rising cornmeal
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 Tblsps. bacon grease
Directions
Heat oven to 450 degrees. Grease and heat pan. Combine cornmeal, eggs, buttermilk, and bacon grease. Mix well and pour into hot skillet. Bake at 450 for 35 minutes or until golden brown. Serves 6-8.
