Audrey Livers’ Blueberry Jam

Ingredients
- 2 2⁄3 C blueberries
- 1 box fruit pectin
- 3 1⁄3 C sugar
- 1⁄2 tsp butter
- 1⁄2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Directions
Crush berries in a heavy pan. Add pectin to berries and stir over high heat to bring to a boil. Add sugar, butter and vanilla. Bring back to a rolling boil. Boil for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour into half-pint jars (about 4). Secure lids and rings and place in a pot of boiling water. Boil 10 minutes. Remove from hot water bath to counter. Do not disturb jars for 12 to 24 hours.
