Joe came to Kentucky Living in 2015 after 20 years in Louisville television and radio, much of which was spent at WHAS-TV, where he served as Political Editor. Joe’s reporting has been recognized with top awards from the Associated Press and Emmy Awards for investigations and blogging. Joe is a 1988 graduate of Lindenwood College and 2012 graduate of Leadership Louisville.

In his free time, Joe writes on politics and travel. He enjoys travelling with his family, especially to historic sites. A former public address announcer for the Louisville Redbirds, Joe is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He is a cantor at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
