Brown-Forman Donating Meals for the Month of April
Approximately 2,000 meals a day to be given to local food pantries
The Bourbon Street Café (the company’s on-site employee restaurant) and Event Planning team will be assembling approximately 2,000 bagged lunches each day, for a total of close to 40,000 meals for the month. The lunches will consist of a sandwich, snacks, fruit, and dessert. The team will assemble the meals at Brown-Forman’s campus, and is partnering with Wiltshire Pantry to deliver and distribute to more than ten organizations. All health and safety precautions are being taken, including working no less than six feet apart, frequent hand washing, work station sanitization and well checks. Minimal contact is required for food delivery.
Along with the community meals, Brown-Forman has donated $1Million that will give back to the people and communities that mean so much to our company. The donation will be spread across multiple locations and agencies to help support those impacted by COVID-19. Initial contributions include: One Louisville, the Hospitality Industry, and International donations. Brown-Forman has also produced hand sanitizer for the local community in Louisville.
