Rebates are available to participating homeowners who make certain energy-efficient improvements to their existing home. The eScore program is a scoring tool designed to clearly define an individual path to greater home energy efficiency.

EnergyRight Solutions New Homes
Rebates are available for energy-efficient, all-electric new home construction. $300 for EnergyRight; $400 for Platinum EnergyRight; $1,000 for Platinum EnergyRight with certified HERS rating; contact the co-op for specifications to qualify.

Heat Pump Financing
Financing is available for a new heat pump or dual fuel heat pump with convenient repayment terms on the electric bill.

Water Heater
$50 rebate when installing an electric storage-type water heater with a minimum capacity of 40 gallons.

Green Power Providers
The time is right to sign up for Green Power Providers. TVA guarantees to purchase all the green energy output (in kilowatt-hours) from your approved solar, wind, hydro, or biomass generation system through a 20-year purchase agreement. TVA offers a $1,000 incentive to new residential participants to help offset their startup costs. Additional federal and state incentives may also apply.

Green Power Switch
You can buy green power in 150-kilowatt hour blocks (about 12% of a typical household’s monthly use). Each block you sign up to purchase will add $4 to your monthly power bill. You can purchase as many blocks as you like. The program is completely voluntary and you can terminate your participation at any time with no termination fee. Purchasing two blocks of green power per month for one year is the environmental equivalent of recycling 15,322 aluminum cans, 1,766 pounds of newspaper, or planting an acre of trees.
