Button-Up Weatherization
Maximum credit of $520 per home for window and insulation upgrades and other weatherization efforts; with additional air sealing option, rebate can range from $750 to $1,370 and will require a pre- and post-blower door test.

Heat Pump Retrofit
$500 rebate for replacement of resistance heat source (electric furnace, ceiling cable, baseboard, or ETS/electric thermal storage) older than two years with a 13 SEER heat pump; $750 rebate for 14 SEER heat pump installed; $1,000 rebate for 15+ SEER heat pump, geothermal, or mini-split system installed.

Touchstone Energy Home
$250 to $750 rebate depending on HERS rating for newly constructed home that meets energy specifications; must have geothermal or high-efficiency heat pump and electric water heater installed; pre-drywall requirements must be inspected and approved in order to qualify.

SimpleSaver
Peak demand usage conservation program; offers credits for participating A/C and water heater units. For more info see “SimpleSaver” article at top.

ENERGY STAR Appliance Rebate
Rebates ranging from $50 to $300 for ENERGY STAR appliances purchased on or after January 2, 2015, for new or existing residences as follows:

Refrigerator $100
Freezer $50
Dishwasher $50
Clothes Washer $75
Heat Pump Water Heater $300
Heat Pump $300
Central Air Conditioning $300

Appliance Recycling
Members can receive $50 for recycling their old refrigerator or freezer. Appliance must be in working order at time of pickup. Call 844-HAUL4ME to schedule a free pickup. Have your account number ready when calling.

ENERGY STAR Manufactured Home Program
If you’re thinking of purchasing a new manufactured home, be sure to request the ENERGY STAR Manufactured Home Program to your salesperson. You may be eligible for an ENERGY STAR-certified upgrade at no additional cost. In most cases, manufactured homes installed in our co-op service territory may be upgraded to ENERGY STAR standards through this energy-efficiency program. Right now, that’s an average savings of about $1,100 each year or about $90 a month on your electric bill.
