Wildflowers & Pollinators

During the heat of the summer, many full-sun dwelling plants are in full flower, and pollinating insects are magnetized to them. Join Jacob Crider for a walk through Creasey Mahan’s meadows and savannas to learn about some of the species of wildflowers we have living there. We will be on the lookout for butterflies, hummingbirds, bees and other wildlife! Recommendation: Bring binoculars, water, and wear good hiking footwear. Hike difficulty: Moderate.
