Lexington Out of the Darkness Walk

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) Community Walk is a local community event aimed at raising awareness about suicide prevention and supporting mental health initiatives. Participants come together to walk, share their stories, and raise funds to support research, education, and advocacy efforts. It’s a community-driven event that helps foster connection and provides hope while working to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues. We walk about 1/2 mile, have a silent auction, live music, food trucks, and short speaker.
