Homeschool Day

Calling all homeschooling families! Gather with like minded families, make new connections, or simply enjoy an outing with your local homeschool group! We will still be open to the public but we will not have public school field trips scheduled for this day. Come as a group or come as a family. No reservations or group minimums required. Must check in at gift shop before 2 pm to receive discounted admission of $12/person ages 3 and up. Wildlife Shows will be provided and each paid homeschool admission receives a small cup of carrots and a parakeet stick to feed the animals. Be sure to check out the historical Daniel Boone cabin while you are here! Explore the creek, feed the animals, play on the playground, pack a picnic lunch or eat at our brand new Cookie’s Cafe!
