Derby Dog Festival

Get ready for a day of tail wagging thrills!! The Derby Dog Festival will be Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the Barren River Lake State Park, Highland Field, 1149 State Park Road, Lucas KY 42156. This all day event (10am-3pm) will be full of dog exhibitions, obedience and Search & Rescue demonstrations and contests. There will also be a luring course for attending dogs to try as well as pet vendors and food trucks for their humans to enjoy. This event will benefit the Barren River Animal Welfare Association–BRAWA.
The Derby Dog Festival will be a community event for animal lovers to gather together, learn about new products, enjoy entertainment and exhibitions and help the shelter through nominal admission and select participation fees.
