Beyond the Borders: Looming Immigration Control Policies and Its Local Impact

As we head into a new administration, the World Affairs Council of Kentucky and S. Indiana (WAC) and partners will host a panel on immigration at the Louisville Free Public Library on January 28 entitled “Beyond the Borders: The Looming Immigration Crisis and Its Local Impact”.

This panel program will be on immigration and refugee resettlement in the new administration, and what the impact might be in Kentucky. Panel topics will explore the legal complexities, humanitarian concerns, and economic consequences of the proposed immigration policies in the new administration.
