Time Capsule – 50 Years Ago In Kentucky Living

That remark by a schoolboy to President Lyndon B. Johnson came close to summing up the opinion of other people in Martin County. Maybe it’s because governors and congressmen are considered homefolk.

Whatever one’s views might be on the occasion of the President’s visit to Martin and Johnson counties, it stirred up such excitement as the people had not witnessed in a long time.
