Don’t expect a fast trip along Highway 127 early this month. There’s a party going on.

August 2-10 marks the 16th annual 450-mile Highway 127 Corridor Sale, also known as The world’s Longest Yard Sale.

That distance would be tough to beat, stretching from Covington, Kentucky, to Gadsen, Alabama. If that doesn’t give you your fill of yard sales, you should especially enjoy this collection of photos from last year’s sale.

Shoppers at last year’s Highway 127 Corridor Sale inspected wares in Albany, shown at left. Those who visited Liberty could look over some of the tools, shown below, for sale by Jill and Timmy Thompson.

A Donald Duck lamp was among the items for sale by vendor Anthony Durso at his table in Covington. Jars of scented candles were available at Mountain View Recreation Park in Albany, the yard sale’s southern-most stop in Kentucky.
