Kentucky Living is published to create a community of people who take pride in thinking of themselves as Kentuckians and as knowledgeable electric co-op members, in order to improve their quality of life.
DRAW A WINNING ENERGY-SAVING PICTURE Kids through age 11 can submit drawings for how to save energy for a chance to have their work published in our Education issue this September. They also have a chance to win one of three prizes from Hallmark aimed at encouraging confidence in children as they head back to school this fall. Click here for complete details on how to enter and more information on the prizes.
Send us “SPOOKY FACES” photos for the October issue so we receive them by August 15. Tell us where the photo was taken; identify who’s in the photo and where they’re from; the name, address, and phone number of the photographer; your name and contact info; and the name of your electric co-op. Remember that close-ups of people work best.
- SUBMIT digital images online at Submit a Snap Shot or mail prints to Kentucky Living Snap Shot, P.O. Box 32170, Louisville, KY 40232. No color laser prints, as they do not reproduce well. Photos will NOT be returned unless you include a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
- GET A HEAD START by sending in photos of “Team Spirit” for the November issue. Those photos are due September 15.
Send us “TURKEY AGAIN” recipes by July 22 for November. Submit online at Submit Reader Recipe or go to www.KentuckyLiving.com/cooking, then click on “Submit Reader Recipe.” Or mail it to us (see “How to Submit” at bottom). If we publish your recipe, we’ll send you a Kentucky Living mug.
