Send us your favorite PUNCH OR SUMMER DRINK recipe by February 23 for June. Submit online at Submit Reader Recipe or go to www.KentuckyLiving.com/cooking, then click on “Submit Reader Recipe.” Or mail it to us. If we publish your recipe, we’ll send you a Kentucky Living mug.
Send us snapshots of your “NEW PETS” for the May issue so we receive them by March 15. Tell us where the photo was taken; identify who’s in the photo and where they’re from; the name, address, and phone number of the photographer; your name and contact info; and the name of your electric co-op. Remember that close-ups of people work best.
- SUBMIT digital images online at Submit a Snap Shot or mail prints to Kentucky Living, using subject line: Snap Shot. For general information about submitting snapshots, including monthly themes, please go to Submit a Snap Shot or look under “Contact Us.” No color laser prints, as they do not reproduce well. Photos will NOT be returned unless you include a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
- GET A HEAD START by sending in snapshots of “Horsing Around”—yes, as in the animal—for the June issue. Those photos are due April 15.
ARE YOU A PRIZEWINNING PHOTOGRAPHER? Enter the Kentucky Living 2011 Photo Contest online now! Deadline is March 15. Categories include: Children; Teens & Adults; Home/Family; Wildlife; Pets; Scenic; Sports/Action; Fireworks; and Miscellaneous. There will be 28 winners—one overall winner receives $200, first place in each category receives $100, second and third places in each category receive $50 each.
