Kentucky Living is published to create a community of people who take pride in thinking of themselves as Kentuckians and as knowledgeable electric co-op members, in order to improve their quality of life.
DID YOU LOSE YOUR JOB in this turbulent economy and decide to go back to school to train for a better job or a different career entirely? What did you do to reinvent yourself, what field did you choose, and why? In 300 words or fewer, tell us about your old self and your new self. Include your name, address, phone number, and the name of your electric co-op if applicable. We’ll pay you $50 if we tell your story in our February College issue to inspire others. E-mail or snail mail your story (see “How to Submit” below) no later than October 15.

SEND US YOUR PHOTOS OF “BABY IT’S COLD OUTSIDE” for the December issue by October 15. Tell us where the photo was taken; identify who’s in the photo (left to right) and where they’re from; the name, address, and phone number of the photographer; your name and contact info; and the name of your electric co-op. Remember that close-ups of people work best.
