Corvette Museum, Dinosaur World, Candlelight Tours, And More
Vets ’n’ Vettes
All are welcome to the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green on November 3-5 for Vets ’n’ Vettes, an annual event to honor those who protect our freedom. Enjoy scenic drives, Corvette golf cart autocross, excursions to Barren River Lake State Resort Park, a poker run, banquet, and more. On Thursday, soldiers from Fort Campbell and Fort Knox can enjoy VIP plant and museum tours, and a two-hour Corvette ride through back roads. Grandparents’ Sundays
Dinosaur World in Cave City offers a special deal for grandparents the first three Sundays in November. Grandparents receive free admission with a paid child admission on November 6, 13, and 20. Winter Trade Days
Winter Trade Days at the Fort is a great opportunity to do your 18th-century gift shopping. Visit Fort Boonesborough State Park in Richmond on November 26-27 to see merchants in period clothing set up shops in the fort’s cabins and blockhouses. Candlelight Tours
My Old Kentucky Home in Bardstown is decorated for Christmas in antebellum style beautifully accented by the glow of candles everywhere. Guests have a guided tour with refreshments afterward.
