Christmas At Shakertown

Shopping will be at its best at Shaker Museum at South Union, just outside of Bowling Green, on Saturday, December 4, for the annual Christmas at Shakertown Open House.

“We have over 40 vendors coming, offering everything from antiques to crafts,” says Lauren Land, operations manager at Shaker Museum. “Half of the vendors are fine-antique dealers, and the crafts people offer high-quality, handmade Southern craft items.”

The annual event draws approximately 600 people. “This is definitely the place to come to do your Christmas shopping,” says Land.

In addition to shopping, you’ll get to see the Shaker Museum decked out in period holiday décor.

Admission is $1 minimum donation or one canned food item, with all proceeds going to local charities.
