Blue Licks Battlefield, Festivals, State Fair And More

Battle of Blue Licks tribute
On August 21-22, Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park in Mt. Olivet will pay tribute to the pioneers who fought and died at the Battle of Blue Licks on August 19, 1782. A craft area features artisans and vendors, along with special music and a battle re-enactment at 3 p.m. each day. Stroll through the encampment and see how the pioneers lived. Kentucky State Fair 2010
