Come be a part of a sport that is American as apple pie, the BB&T All-American Soap Box Derby in Bowling Green on May 21–22. Youth soap box derby has run nationally for more than 75 years teaching youngsters some of the basic skills of workmanship, the spirit of competition, and the perseverance to continue a project once it has begun. Mountain Laurel Festival
The Mountain Laurel Festival, founded in 1931, celebrates the beauty of spring and the blooming of the Mountain Laurel.
