Enter your best photos for a chance to win money and bragging rights by being published in Kentucky Living magazine and the 2011 Kentucky Living calendar. Follow the rules on this page. A panel of photographers will judge the photos for visual appeal, human interest, and artistic merit. Winning photos will be published in the July 2010 issue of Kentucky Living.

We will choose a total of 25 winners:

• One overall best photo will receive $200
• First place in each category will receive $100
• Second and third places in each category willreceive $50 each

Rules

Entries must be the original work of the photographer making the submission absolutely no studio or professional shots accepted.

Option 1: Through the Internet
Use the online entry form on our Web site at www.KentuckyLiving.com and click on Photo Contest. Complete a separate form for each photo submitted. Photos must be in .jpg format. Internet submissions must be received by March 31.

Option 2: Through U.S. mail
Submit one unmounted photo, at least 4"x 6", in an envelope; multiple entries are permitted in the same package but each photo must be in its own envelope. Each photo must have completed form below attached (make copies for multiple entries) and postmarked March 31 or earlier. Photos will not be returned. Mail to Kentucky Living, P.O. Box 32170, Louisville, KY 40232.

Option 3: Digital submissions
Photos should be taken and submitted at the highest resolution possible, not less than 1 MB file size. Digital photos sent through the U.S. mail must be burned onto a CD readable by both Macintosh and Windows, and accompanied by a printed photo as well as an entry form.

In a case where KAEC cannot or does not provide such acknowledgement, you agree to waive any right to the same. Rights to use of the photos become the property of Kentucky Living. Kentucky Living cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected photos. Employees of Kentucky Association of Electric Cooperatives, Kentucky Living, or Kentucky's electric cooperatives are not eligible. These terms are in addition to the Terms of Use and Privacy Statement that govern www.kentuckyliving.com and which are incorporated by reference.
